Ann-Marie is experienced in treating a wide variety of health conditions with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Her treatments are an effective alternative, as well as adjunctive therapy, to conventional Western treatments.

Ann-Marie's comprehensive treatments incorporate acupuncture, heat therapy, herbal prescriptions, and nutritional and lifestyle counseling. She approaches each patient individually, creating a customized holistic treatment plan.

The treatment of musculoskeletal disorders is a large part of Ann-Marie's practice. She successfully treats neck, back, shoulder, knee, and elbow pain due to injury, overuse, or arthritis; sciatica, tendonitis, and generalized muscle tension.

Ann-Marie also successfully treats women's health disorders with TCM. As a woman's body is in a constant state of change, TCM can effectively help restore balance at any stage of life from puberty through menopause. PMS, menstrual irregularities, perimenopause, menopause, dysmenorrhea, hormonal migraines, and infertility are some of the manyfemale health issues that TCM treats.

professional background

Ann-Marie studied TCM at the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine where she attended the Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine program. She was later fortunate to complete a clinical internship with Jean Yu, M.D. in China, Master Herbalist, and Licensed Acupuncturist for over 48 years.

Ann-Marie is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in California, considered to be the highest level of TCM traing in the United States.
